Sodexo Corporate Services North America is seeking a Resource General Manager 3 (this job is temp in nature lasting from 3 to 12 months). This position will support Arizona as the District Resource General Manager and provide support for special projects, serve as interim manager as needed and provide vacation coverage.

 

The General Manager’s main responsibilities include the daily operation of the full-service café. This role will supervise Sodexo employees along with managing all Sodexo programs, standard food safety policies & financial administrative duties as well as food and labor cost control and providing exceptional customer service, leadership skills and marketing strategy.  Also, this role will ensure culinary standards and will collaborate with the Area District Manager to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

The ideal candidate should have: 

  • 3-5 years of food service management/restaurant experience.
  • menu planning and development experience and knowledge of sustainability and wellness.
  • exceptional customer service, organizational communication skills; along with the ability to be professional and personable. 
  • experience with P&L, and financial responsibility including budget & food and labor cost.
  • experience managing and training staff.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.
