Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 for this full service food service account at Hilton Head Hospital.  Hilton Head Hospital is a 93-bed medical center and a major health care facility serving communities from Hilton Head Island to Bluffton.  This hospital is located on the beautiful Hilton Head Island in South Carolina and is only 43 miles from Savannah, GA.


The Food Service General Manager will have direct client, and executive level communication and day to day operational and financial responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a culinary background, be well versed in food service operations, food and labor cost controls, while also having proven success in driving Patient Satisfaction results. The ability to articulate ideas, thoughts, opinions, professionally and clearly within all levels of the organization is critical. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:

  • Integrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted advisor and member of the accounts leadership team
  • Communicate and be engaged with all levels 
  • Achieve continuous improvement in patient satisfaction scores by finding out from patients what exactly they want
  • Meeting (or exceeding) Sodexo standards of operations (Gold Check) 
  • Provide service to the patients as they deserve from having true passion in the work you do.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
