Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a General Manager 3 to join our team at a high profile business dining account in Reston VA.  The food operation at this location consist of a 1 corporate cafe and catering operations, total MV of 1.4 million.

 

The General Manager 3 has total unit operating responsibilities including the supervision of an Executive Chef, Catering Manager, and 14 hourly staff associates. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, menu planning, service delivery, safety and audit compliance and development of hourly and salaried direct reports. Must demonstrate experience with financial analysis, cost containment, strategic thinking, and team development. High level of client interaction is required.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
