Wilson Memorial Hospital is a 100 bed acute care community Hospital serving residents of Shelby County and surrounding communities. 

 

Sodexo is recruiting candidates for the General Manager 3 of Food Service position with direct responsibilities for managing the Food/Nutrition Departments, with a budget of $1.5M.  Culinary background / food production experience a PLUS!  

 

The General Manager 3 manage approximately 25 employees. 

 

Key Responsibilities include: strong employee/customer relations; knowledge & skilled in regulatory compliance; food handling/Serv Safe Certified; knowledgeable regarding food production, retail, patient dining standards; budgeting; employee scheduling and training.  Successful candidates must be flexible, detail oriented, possess excellent communication, and time management skills.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
