Sodexo Corporate Services Division has a new and unique opportunity for an experienced General Manager for our premier upscale client Unilver in Englewood Cliffs, NJ to oversee multiple sites including a full service café, tea bar, grab and go market, and company retail store.

The most qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate an aptitude for leading change, creating a culture focused on customer service and the customer experience; in building and developing teams, high levels of customer engagement, and the ability to build mutually successful client relationships. Previous experience in catering, managing in a union environment, P/L responsibility, and leading teams in a five-star environment are beneficial.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree           

Basic Management Experience - 5 years              

Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
