Sodexo Corporate Services North America is seeking an experienced General Manager 4 for our premier client Bristol Myers-Squibb in Lawrenceville / Princeton, NJ.

 

We will deliver a wide range of services from retail café operations, onsite catering, private dining, Starbucks kiosks and pantry services.. The GM of food service will have total unit operating responsibilities including the supervision of management team and all hourly staff with a focus on excellent customer experience.

 

Our clients have created a beautiful campus with a lake and walking trail.  This position will report directly to the Area General Manager, and will be responsible for day to day leadership of the culinary operations at the  Lawrenceville location. Our ideal candidate will be innovative, keeping services fresh and updated based on current trends.

 

Success in this role and in the relationship will require you to:

  • Be innovative every day

  • Oversee all day to day food and nutrition services in a multi-unit location
  • Integrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted adviser and member of the accounts leadership team

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree           

Basic Management Experience - 5 years
