Job # 69141 - Sodexo is seeking a General Manager (IV) / Director of Dining for Lourdes Noreen McKeen in West Palm Beach, FL.  This is a 296 Resident Continuing Care Retirement Community with a spectacular waterfront view, located on historic Flagler Drive overlooking the inter-coastal waterway. This community offers an elegant, resort-style independent and assisting living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation care. Just blocks from downtown's shopping, arts, cultural district and restaurants.  Are you a dynamic, self-starter with strong customer service, leadership, and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities to effectively achieve high Resident & Client Satisfaction?  If so, we would love to hear from you!

 

In this role you manage; our 5 Star Dining Program in multiple venues, culinary oversight, high quality systems and standards, impeccable food safety and sanitation, the development of client and resident relations, and innovative training programs for 4 managers and 25 hourly employees. You will also interact daily with residents and clients to provide amazing customer service and program enhancements. This senior level director position requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop teams that deliver extraordinary dining services in order to exceed resident & client expectations.

 

Your Skills Check List for this position;

Certified Dietary Manager or enrolled in a program

Sodexo Contract Management Experience

Dining Director experience in a CCRC

At least 4 years Exp; Food Service Director / Sr General Manager

Financial volume; 4 million and P&L reporting

Manage other managers (4) who oversee 25 hourly employees

Working knowledge of HACCP, Regulatory Compliance

Computer Skills; Financial, Food, & Labor Management

Fine dining, food retail, and upscale catering experience

Capability to implement customer service enhancements

Ability to worked collaboratively with other department heads 

Schedule hours 7am-5pm with some weekend / holiday based on events.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.
