Unit Description

Sodexo Aviation Services has an exciting opening for a Club/Lounge General Manager for the busy, private airline lounges at Newark Liberty International Airport. As the GM for multiple clubs, you will have responsibility for daily operations and service staff including bartenders, service attendants as well as custodial staff.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent front of house guest services skills,
  • High volume experience with a minimum of 5 yrs in an F&B venue
  • Successful management of 75+ employees
  • Food service knowledge, bar service &/or concierge experience, a strong eye for detail
  • Overall excellent service standards and most important, be a true team leader

Responsible for general management of an account/unit providing one or more core services (Core Services of: Lounge Operations and may include any of: Complementary Food and Bar, Food For Sale, Appearance Care, Credential Desk, Purchasing and Concierge Services. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
