We are currently seeking a General Manager to lead a multi-site district for the Refreshment Services business at Aramark Canada. The General Manager will manage all facets of the area including profit and loss, human resources, sales and customer service with full P&L accountability.  



  • This position requires a results driven individual who will use their established business and leadership experience to deliver sustainable profitable growth through their team. 
  • A proven record of execution is required to approach decisions, opportunities and challenges in a process-focused way so as to ensure efficient and effective execution of business strategies. 
  • This individual must provide strong leadership to improve the effectiveness and productivity of the team by providing clear direction and creating a positive work environment that energizes and engages the teams at all levels throughout the district. 
  • The General Manager is responsible for building multiple teams by developing future talent for ARAMARK and proactively taking responsibility for others' professional growth and development. 
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong Customer/Client relationships with genuine desire and ability to discover the changing needs of ARAMARK's environment and respond accordingly with solutions that target these needs.

  • University degree in business administratio & or relevant field 
  • The candidate must have experience managing a multi-million-dollar P&L, multi-unit/multi-site management experience and client relations.
  • Demonstrated operational oversight success in route based sales business
  • Direct Sales Distribution experience would be considered a definite asset 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Bilingual in French would be considered an asset
  • Ability to concise data while being able to manage multiple priorities in a time sensitive environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationship: be accountable and responsible for the businesses they are assigned
  • Experience using systems eg: Salesforce as a CRM; ability to work within multiple systems
  • The position is based in Toronto with expected travel from various accounts, as far as Ottawa and Windsor. 
  • Proficiency in Windows Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Excellent presentation & relationship development skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle
