In the position of the Geo Territory Account Manager you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Plan and execute the regional sales strategy in order to meet the agreed milestones and timescales and to ensure that sales targets are achieved or/and exceeded.
  • Build and handle your Partner landscape to drive large-scale business within your region with all of Cisco´s technologies.
  • Work closely with the Cisco Partners team to meet revenue targets and execute local sales strategy
  • Co-Operate with and lead Virtual Sales Account Manager and Virtual Partner Account Manager from Global Virtual Sales
  • Focus on an excellent customer experience and become your customers’ and partners’ trusted advisor
  • Develop and maintain relationships on Exec Level with new and existing customers and partners
  • Identify new target accounts and Execute on Sales activities like Callout-Days and customer workshops
  • Manage and develop your regional sales plan with all of Cisco´s technologies, namely Enterprise Networking, Collaboration, Security and Data Center
  • Orchestrate and manage your cross-functional team members, e.g Sales Specialists, Service and Presales System Engineer´s to deliver complete business solutions.
  • Deliver accurate business metrics, monthly forecasts, weekly commits and pipeline development reports.
  • Anticipate any change in the opportunities, market, customer and partner needs and requirements that could impact the overall revenue target.
  • Identify and develop new strategic business partners in your region
  • Drive centrally organized sales campaigns as well as own regional campaigns

Who You Are

  • You have several years of IT sales experience in the commercial/midmarket area, ideally in the South Germany region.
  • You have a deep knowledge of the business partner/channel market and existing relationships.
  • You are self-driven and you can execute against your own sales plan
  • Hunting mentality and approach towards designated tasks.
  • Professional experience in selling complex technical solutions to executive management.
  • Consistent record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Able to understand, articulate and position the value of a technology-based solution to the customer.
  • Basic knowledge of Cisco’s solution portfolio (Enterprise Networking, Collaboration, Security and Data Center)
  • Very good at handling priorities and high interest to act in a fast moving and dynamic environment
  • Very good communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
