The FFG Global Expansion Analyst will be responsible for supporting the growth of the Food for Good initiative outside of the United States. This individual will support the Global Expansion/Innovation Manager in identifying business opportunities where Food for Good & PepsiCo could add value to solve hunger & nutrition related issues. The analyst will be responsible for supporting FFG growth into 1 market by 2018 and 5 different markets by 2025. The initial focus will be Africa and South America

Accountabilities:

  • Research NGO & Not-For-Profit organizations that could serve as potential partners in local markets/geographies.
  • Identify existing research on food access issues in various countries. Analyze data & research to guide the FFG team to the right geography.
  • Collaborate with local PepsiCo BU to understand PepsiCo assets & expertise (supply chain, R&D, strategy) that could be leveraged to increase access to nutritious food for low income consumers.
  • Identify and analyze relevant funding opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a proof of concept/pilot model.
  • Develop success \"framework\" including go/no go decision process & win themes. Outline key parameters to successful international revenue generating business model.
  • Work with US and Field specialists to collect relevant country and technical area information that informs the design of the business model.
  • Provide technical inputs to create cost viability/scalability of the business model.
  • Support in writing proposals to request grants that could fund the business model.
  • Partner with PepsiCo Government Affairs team to understand company priorities for the specific markets.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Business or Entrepreneurship
  • 3 to 5 years experience working with not-for-profits or government agencies.
  • Experience in writing grants and gaining funding for proposals preferred
  • Strong international communication skills (written & oral).
  • Multi language skills desired
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Strategy experience required
  • In addition to education, requires work experience in international relief and development.
  • Candidate with Food Security or social services background a plus.
  • Position preferred to be based in Plano, would consider Chicago, NY or DC
