Job Details

This key senior leader is a new role to PCH and accountable for delivering and executing a vision, strategy, and core growth plans for Global Centrum which represents >25% of PCH revenue.

This role will be responsible to lead the development of global positioning, architecture, advertising, pricing, marketing, and commercial innovation development and delivery to PCH markets in all Regions and key Markets. The scope (>30 markets) and complexity (multiple market archetypes clusters) is significant creating a unique opportunity to leverage capability and scale to drive significantly improved efficiency and effectiveness.

In this commercial role, this senior leader will have direct oversight to commercial innovation teams and in partnership with the CBG R&D Lead, will set the priorities and strategy for cross-functional partners and critical enabling functions (e.g. Regulatory, Medical, Clinical, PGS) applicable to global brands to deliver PCH's strategic and financial goals.

+ Lead the development of a Global Centrum core growth strategy, in partnership with CBG R&D Lead and deliver it with a cohesive commercial plan.

+ Accountable for Global Centrum P&L, prioritizing investments and projects to meet financial targets.

+ Track market trends and competitive actions and leverage consumer insights to identify and develop renovation initiatives for Centrum. Drive opportunities to maximize the scale of Centrum brand growth, global potential and operational efficiency.

+ Develop and maintain global Centrum brand guardrails to be followed by markets including positioning, Architecture, Visual Identity.

+ Lead the development of global advertising for Centrum and partner with markets to adapt for local needs.

+ Engage Innovation integrate innovation roadmap into Centrum brand strategy, and Regional teams to secure market interest for projects, and align on financial commitments.

+ Establish and actively maintain an agile, accountable and high performing Commercial team. Own the Centrum brand growth projects from end to end and all commercial elements needed to deliver them.

+ Serve as active member of the Wellness Leadership Team

+ Manage Centrum talent and capability development for commercial.


+ BS/BA required, MBA, MD or PhD degree preferred

+ 15+ years of Leadership experience preferable in a global marketing role with business facing experience. Experience in developing and managing budgets, Op Plan and long term strategies.

+ Proven ability to successfully innovate, redirect and accelerate brand and apply marketing and/or development expertise

+ Ability to anticipate issues/needs and to work proactively to address them

+ Ability to coordinate and/or lead complex cross-functional projects and functional / organizational initiatives with a strong sense of urgency to achieve objectives and desired outcomes.

+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills at multiple organizational levels. Ability to craft clear and concise messages. Internal and external networking capabilities.

+ High emotional intelligence and high degree of flexibility and agility

+ Demonstrated Marketing Competencies which may include:

+ Advertising Development and Agency Management, Market Customer and Competitor Insight and Focus, Consumer and Marketing research and execution, Marketing Innovation, Data Analysis, interpretation and communications; Brand and platform strategy development

+ Executive presence, strong commercial, analytical skills. Demonstrated business acumen and operational knowledge.

+ Proven experience in influencing and driving decisions and making high-level recommendations for Executive approval, where needed

+ Passion for a positive and engaging approach to team culture and work environment

+ Role models for Pfizer Leadership competencies. High integrity and trustworthy. Strictly upholds and adheres to confidentiality, ethics and compliance standards.


Ability to travel. Estimated up to 25%. Most frequent expected destination is Richmond. Some international travel as business needs require.
