Prudential International Insurance (PII) continues to be one of Prudential's fastest growing and most profitable business groups.  PII has operations in twelve countries around the world (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, China, Brazil, Argentina, Indonesia, Mexico, Poland, and Italy) and is looking to fill a Global Mobility Manager position in the Human Resources department.  


This position will manage and execute global mobility support and solutions to business unit clients.   This includes providing guidance and consulting to deliver effective global mobility execution which maximizes a positive assignee experience, cost management, regulatory/tax compliance and efficiencies.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Functions as the business partner to internal business clients for global relocations and international assignments to include guiding the employee and the business unit through the life-cycle of an international assignment or a domestic relocation
  • Manages the assignment initiation process for the preparation of international and domestic relocations
  • This includes providing support to business units clients on the Program offerings and recommending relocation benefits in accordance with the Program rules while meeting the business unit client’s global mobility objectives
  • Prepare the Letters of Assignment and Domestic Relocation Agreements to support the secondment and document the assignment provisions  
  • Manage immigration advisors to determine the immigration requirements throughout the international assignment life-cycle. 
  • Partner with external and internal immigration advisors and consult on the best immigration strategy to meet the objectives of the international assignment
  • Develop home and host payroll set up and execution to support payroll compliance in all jurisdictions
  • Manage Relocation Vendor to support the physical relocation of the employee including assignment provisions, host housing, shipment of goods, home leave, etc.
  • Mange tax equalization process with international assignee and business unit
  • Manage the cost projection and accrual process for assignment expenses
  • Document process flows and tasks related to mobility programs

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5 years of international and domestic relocation experience, specifically focused on supporting the entire relocation life cycle, from initiation to repatriation 
  • Payroll experience required, specific knowledge of the expatriate payroll, tax equalization and multi jurisdiction tax requirements is a plus
  • Understanding of immigration & tax concepts and the ability to develop an immigration and tax plan to meet the assignment objectives
  • Experience with managing and directing relocation vendors to achieve global mobility goals 
  • Ability to support an international workforce and flexibility to work across many different time zones
  • Ability to speak multiple languages a plus
