Description:

The Global Procurement Associate Analyst role sits under our Global Procurement IT/Services Center of Excellence (COE). This team is responsible for setting sourcing strategies and contracting IT goods and services and travel services globally. Additionally, the team is responsible for sourcing professional services for several of PepsiCo's corporate functions located in North America, including Human Resources, Corporate Communications and Finance. This person will be the lead SME/Functional Expert for Global Procurement's IT contract management system, including managing system updates and implementing new functionality. They will manage IT Procurement's portal, including layout & content update. This role requires close interaction with IT Global Procurement Management, team and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with global internal & external stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity to enhance system functionality, drive global standards and process efficiencies, develop best practices
  • Collaborate with IT to manage implementation of system changes, including defining business requirements, testing, training, and communication, test plans, performing system tests, etc. for enhancements, upgrades, tool changes,
  • Review and approve IT user profiles and accesses
  • Manage the supplier relationship for IT
  • DocuSign Integration
  • SME/Functional Expert for Global Procurements Ariba eSourcing Platform, including RFP consultation with Category leaders, development of best practices, managing system updates and functionality, approver for new users and tracking licenses
  • Communicating with leadership on status of priorities, metrics and adoption
  • Collaborating with Legal to insure the appropriate contracting processes are in place
  • Supporting the eRFX and eAuction strategy development and execution
  • Providing ongoing training and support to both internal and external users of the system on Projects, eRFX/eAuction
  • Ensuring eSourcing procedures are up to date, available and understood.
  • Support Procurement activities to achieve annual productivity targets within the Global Procurement productivity framework.
  • Understanding the needs of the procurement, sourcing and supplier users to anticipate their needs to drive optimization and user satisfaction through improved processes, products or services


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) in Supply Chain, Business, IT, IS or Computer Science
  • Experience in IT or a purchasing/sourcing function
  • Experience providing training and support via phone, web or in person to internal or external end users.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving adoption/implementation of business process/initiatives or applications.
  • 2 years of Analyst experience
  • Self-starter with proven project management skills
  • Leadership: eager to embrace and lead change, ability to manage in PepsiCo's ambiguous matrix environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills: comfortable and effective verbal and written communication with all stakeholders, across global markets.
  • Highly collaborative: works well with others, and can identify and inform Procurement, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to deliver results; keeps others informed.
  • Innovative: takes initiative to find ways to get better results, seeks and takes advantage of ideas, best practices and solutions.
