Description:

The Transportation & Fleet Procurement Manager will be part of the North America Transportation & Fleet Procurement team. This person will be responsible for the strategic analytics, continuous improvement, and tactical execution of transportation and fleet procurement.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading and supporting the transportation and fleet procurement strategic analytics, continuous improvement, and tactical execution across North America through the development of advanced analytics capabilities.
  • Anticipate and solve strategic business problems with broad impact through transportation and fleet procurement by applying leading-edge theories and techniques to investigate problems, detect patterns and recommend solutions.
  • Fully understand the market dynamics in transportation and the fleet categories.
  • Role is responsible for leading / supporting a system, process, and technology that ensures common information and processes are leveraged to optimize the purchased transportation and fleet assets.
  • Meet and exceed financial productivity goals and objectives that also meet the service needs of the business.
  • Interacts with internal transportation and fleet business leaders across PepsiCo North America both in Global Procurement and Operations. Manage/interact with external partners/vendor to develop and deliver contractual RFI's / RFP's for the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Science or Engineering preferred.
  • 5- 7 years' experience in the logistics industry
  • Strong foundational understanding of supply chain, transportation constraints, and fleet categories
  • Working knowledge of industry leading transportation and fleet procurement systems, tools and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to influence key stakeholders
  • Practical working knowledge of Excel and Access.
