Support the Global Supplier Quality Assurance Team from a Global supplier readiness and compliance standpoint. This will include working with cross functional partners on obtaining the list of domestic and foreign suppliers providing materials to global PepsiCo businesses. The individual will have to work with the suppliers to verify and amend as needed the supplier producing location(s) that provide PepsiCo with Raw Materials. After the locations have been verified, the individual will work with the suppliers to obtain and review all PepsiCo required documentation from a completeness for SQA perspective (i.e. Prescreens/SQA Surveys, Audits, HACCP Plans, Allergen Plans / Statements, etc.). The individual would be responsible for partnering with the internal PepsiCo Material Class Owner(s) to ensure that all gaps of significance are addressed in a satisfactory way with all supporting documentation. All of the supplier information and follow up will need to be documented in our Global Repository and will be the responsibility of the selected candidate. The role will support the Nutrition, Snacks and Beverage Categories and all material classes. In this role the successful candidate will drive supplier conformance to the PepsiCo Standards and SQA process compliance with all supporting documentation. This will be accomplished through the effective and efficient collaboration, coordination, communication and diligence with a wide variety of stakeholders (Suppliers, Material Class Owners, BIS, Regulatory, PD and GP).

  • Support the implementation and documentation of PepsiCo's Supplier Quality Assurance Process
  • Manage the Global Supplier Database for supplier producing locations and ensuring that all supporting documentation is stored properly
  • Support Global Re-Approval metrics analysis and reporting needs
  • Develop technical expertise to drive CI with the suppliers for identified gaps in documentation and/or programs
  • Work closely with PepsiCo suppliers to facilitate the process compliance as well as to collect all program supporting documentation
  • Work with Material Class Owners to develop action plans to ensure 100% compliance to our Global Supplier maintenance programs


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science, preferably in a Science discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in the food industry (preferred) or other consumer goods company in a Supplier Quality role
  • Demonstrated influencing skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of internal and external partners
  • Attention to detail at the appropriate level
  • Strong communication skills: having the ability to clearly communicate to a wide audience what is needed and when it is needed by and the ability to follow up and maintain a schedule / business plan
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic environment while leading and delivering projects
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally
  • Ability to deliver work and achieve desired outcomes by organizing and prioritizing individual workload
  • Computer and System understanding and ownership
