Prudential Advertising is a unique internal full-service branding & advertising agency within Prudential, established in 1996 and consisting of over 80 employees. The agency handles all advertising, including creative development, strategy, production, trafficking, and buying/planning of all media formats (broadcast, print, OOH, digital, and social) for Prudential's brand and individual business units. Reporting to the VP, Head of Client Services, the Account Leads manage advertising creation and execution across one or several business products and services. With a close partnership across various functional teams including Strategy & Planning, Media Planning & Buying, Project Management and Creative, the Account Directors identify specific business needs/objectives for their client groups, and implement solutions that aid in the achievement of the client's branding and advertising goals. As the senior point of contact, the Group Account Director manages a tea of Account service professionals and builds strategic operational plans while balancing client expectations. Responsibilities: Daily, cultivate senior-level relationships to achieve highest level of client satisfaction Build a culture of esprit de corps as a team and with individuals to achieve service excellence; mentor and manage junior member or team Manage oversight of the service delivery process on all client support needs ensuring that integrated multi-channel strategies are experienced for all stakeholder audiences Play a critical role in ensuring that the team adheres to strategic direction as set by the agency and client Effectively communicate and collaborate across various internal groups (creative, strategy, social, production, etc.) and any external vendors; properly and timely escalating any concerns, documenting and providing solutions. Use influencing ability to promote creative solutions and new ideas Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university Minimum 12 years experience in professional client relationship management position at an advertising agency or corporate Marketing department leading integrated online and offline advertising projects At least 2 years experience managing a team (hiring, performance management, mentoring, goal setting, etc.) B2B advertising or Marketing experience servicing Fortune 500 brands is a plus; Financial sector experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of, and capable performer in key marketing disciplines, with experience in financial management, HR management, process management/operations Ability to build a plan, strategize and make decisions at a senior level Well versed with traditional and modern advertising methods (digital, social, content) with creative instinct; full awareness of creative processes and techniques A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects Possess clear, concise, and engaging written, verbal and presentation skills A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints Seasoned professional in listening, problem resolution and negotiation skills Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to demonstrate passion, objectivity and poise under pressure Prudential is a multinational financial services leader with operations in the United States, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
