**OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ To Maximize sales of assigned product/portfolio/territory across channels (Private Hospital, Clinic, Retail) under private business team



+ To Provide strategic business focus and tactical implementation



+ To Act as a driving force for DSMs and TSRs within the group



+ To Provide leadership to ensure a productive, motivated and cohesive team



+ To Manage sales producing activities within the group



+ To Support culture integration plan







**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** **1. Preparation, Implementation and Review of Group Business Plans**







+ Implementing and following up on POA, business and marketing plans



+ Developing regular sales analysis and reporting, monitoring sales development, hospital listing plan, potential customers, price and loss of exclusivity strategies



+ Preparing strategic plans for the group including development of DSMs and TSRs



+ Initiatives that specifically address the leadership responsibilities for the area (e.g. building a motivated, performing, productive and cohesive team)



+ Establishing co-ordination and co-operation on issues across team







**2. Monitoring and reviewing of key performance management parameters**







+ District and area level activity reports



+ Customer segmentation, Call coverage by and productivity of DSM and TSR



+ Incentive scheme development and analysis







**3. Regular field works**







+ Minimum 1 day per month with each DSM



+ Out on field work with TSRs if necessary







**4. Review and revision of coaching and development skills**







**5. Monitoring sales of the group and impact on the business**







+ Monitoring sales developments, keeping abreast with competitors' information and market intelligence



+ Reviewing potential customer analysis, productivity per TSRs, number of TSRs/team



+ Establishing relations with both established and emerging business influences (e.g. specialists, medical associations, chiefs of pharmacist, members of PTC, and other key stakeholders



+ Routinely maintaining contacts with key prescribers, lecturers and speakers







**6. Management of all internal cross team activities, handling issues and strategies**







+ Co-ordinating District and Territory planning and strategies



+ Encouraging exchange of information and ideas freely



+ Setting performance parameters for the group (e.g. target)







**7. Developing a team of high motivated and dynamic DSM's**







+ Setting objectives for DSM's



+ Conducting DSM performance reviews



+ Providing motivation, direction and leadership to DSM's and acting as mentor to DSM's
