Job Details

**Role purpose**

**Provide the organization with adequate support related to pricing and reimbursement of Pfizer's ethical pharmaceuticals for selected therapeutic areas, in Belgium and Luxembourg in order to contribute to the achievement of Pfizer's overall objectives through:**

+ **Formulating product-specific plans for pricing and reimbursement**

+ **Providing product-specific pricing and reimbursement files of high quality**

+ **Providing the organization with accurate answers on questions related to pricing and reimbursement taking into account the needs and the requirements of the Pricing & Reimbursement Authorities**

**Generate through customer management of the different stakeholders involved in the pricing & reimbursement process and high quality pricing & reimbursement applications, the most favorable attitude towards Pfizer's ethical pharmaceuticals commercialized in Belgium and Luxembourg.**

**Partner with our customers to improve our relationships and mutual understanding in order to optimize product access for patients in Belgium and Luxembourg.**

**Key responsibilities**

+ **Prepare customer management plans** based on the needs and expectations of **different stakeholders** involved in the pricing & reimbursement process

+ **Propose pricing & reimbursement (P&R) strategies, tactics and plans** for therapeutic area selective products and present them in the adequate cross-functional teams and decision platform(s)

+ **Propose achievable prices** for the local market to **the department and to Regional & Global Patient & Health Impact** . Respond to demands and questionnaires addressed by Regional & Global Patient & Health Impact

+ **Establish the pricing files** in close co-operation with Business Finance

+ **Establish the reimbursement files** in close collaboration with medical and business colleagues

+ **Integrate health economic data and arguments** supported by the Health Economics Manager in order to prove the cost impact of innovative treatments thereby supporting reimbursement

+ Identify **competitors' tactics** to obtain P&R data and pricing structures for similar products by using formal and informal information channels

+ Ensure **close cooperation with the Marketing and Medical** departments and maintain close contacts with **Regulatory Affairs and Outcomes Research** departments

+ **Create long term partnerships** with the different stakeholders involved in the pricing & reimbursement process (representatives of the ministries of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs, Sick Funds representatives, other members of the CTG/CRM, RIZIV/INAMI,...)

+ Proactively present and support our P&R applications before and during the P&R process with the different key stakeholders and CTG/CRM members **via regular personal contacts** .

+ Follow up and provide feedback on status and milestones for the P&R files

+ Proactively prepare the revision of reimbursement applications

+ Develop counter strategies as appropriate to maintain/optimize access to relevant Pfizer medicines

+ Centralize and update all information related to P&R for the selected therapeutic areas (Pfizer's and competitors' products) in the European countries

+ Represent the Health & Value BeLux in the adequate cross-functional teams.

**Skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience**


+ University degree

+ Knowledge of the legislation of pricing and reimbursement in Belgium & Luxembourg


+ 3 to 5 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry of which, ideally, including in pricing & reimbursement

**Language skills** : Fluent in French, Dutch and English

**Other competencies** :

+ Good therapeutic knowledge/understanding

+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills

+ Networking: maintenance of a broad network

+ Excellent analytical skills

+ Planning, prioritizing and organizing abilities

+ Extended editorial skills in F, NL & E

+ Strategic thinking

+ Fluent in use of databases and software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
