As a Healthcare Economics Consultant on our team, you’ll design and develop reports and analyze data that measures clinical outcomes, network performance and methodology levers. Using quantitative analyses of utilization and health care costs data you’ll make recommendations on business solutions and best approaches for data consolidation. Your analyses will be used to create viable, real-world solutions in a complex health care landscape.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the building and maintenance of data reporting packages for a growing multifunctional organization. Responsibilities include the design of query code utilizing intermediate to advanced SAS, SQL, Sagent tools. In addition to Access and Excel skills to deliver one-off and complex report requests.
Design & deliver data reporting from a variety of sources typically UNET platform in addition to data from other systems
Deliver accurate reporting and data related deliverables in a timely manner
Ability to communicate and consult with customers and business partners as needed
Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures and the ability to write queries and combine data from multiple datasets for reporting purposes
SQL query design experience, Mainframe SAS and/or SAS EG, JCL
Good understanding of medical claim terminology for example; CPT-4, DRG, Diagnosis codes, etc.
Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements
Identifies and delivers reporting solutions to non-standard requests and problems
Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, and analytical skills
It will take your considerable analytical ability to meet the challenge of working with large complex data sets and finding the best ways to communicate why the data is meaningful
