The purpose of the heavy duty housekeeper is to provide operational support to ensure the facility is safe, clean and in good repair. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Follows all procedures for cleaning areas in the RTC and Outpatient facility.
  2. Ensures chemicals are contained as required by policy.
  3. Utilizes the appropriate equipment when cleaning in the facility.
  4. Vacuums, dusts, and cleans services as required by procedures.
  5. Ensures chemicals are mixed in accordance to required compositions.
  6. Refills all paper products as needed.
  7. Reports unsafe or broken equipment to Plant Staff for repairs.
  8. Understands “Lock Out “ procedures
  9. Ensures clean linens are available for use at all times.
  10. Follows all OSHA Standards on handling laundry uses PPE as needed.

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • 1-2 years of related experience.  Experience working in a health care environment a plus.
