Position Summary:

Our team of professionals includes board-certified child/adolescent and adult psychiatrists, master’s-level clinical therapists, nurses and mental health associates who are here to help people reconnect with their families, friends and employers so that they may lead productive lives. Tucked within the wooded hills of Central Arkansas, The BridgeWay is just moments away from the major highways that unite Arkansans throughout the state. Founded in 1983 and accredited by The Joint Commission, our quiet campus has retained much of the cozy charm and character that existed then.

Under the supervision of the Director of Health Information Management/Medical Records, takes care of release of information, and performs other duties to include chart assembly and analysis, coding, filing, stamping outgoing mail and physician notification of delinquent records.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 1. Effective oral and written communication skills. 2. Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor and other hospital employees. 3. Ability to provide direction, support, and supervision. 4. Good organization and time management skills. 5. Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

 
Requirements
Total education, vocational training and experience: High school graduate with at least one year of Medical Records experience or a degree in Health Information preferred.
