UHS is currently recruiting for our Hospital Administrator Program at George Washington University Hospital (Washington, D.C.)When it comes to choosing a hospital, one thing is clear: quality counts. Position Summary:
The selected candidate will provide day-to-day operations for ancillary or assigned departments. He/she will implement strategy of CEO and COO and will manage assigned departments efficiently and effectively to maximize quality of services and profits of the hospital. The selected candidate may rotate among UHS facilities on a periodic basis in order to enhance exposure to a variety of services, programs, and management styles.
Job Requirements
Position Requirements:
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of the financial implications of decisions including budgeting and forecasting for a limited number of departments and/or projects is required.
  • Skills: Must be detail oriented and able to focus on nuances of multiple hospital operations. Effective communication skills with diverse groups, including physicians, managers, and employees is required.
  • Education: Master’s degree required (MBA, MHA or related program).
  • Work experience: Two to three years of hospital management experience at a mid or senior level.
