House Supervisor (RN) is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and Performance Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff.

 
Requirements

Education, Training, and Experience Required:

A. Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program and Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
B. Licensure: Licensure and registration by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
C . Experience: At least three (3) years of clinical experience in a hospital setting with psychiatric experience and extensive management background
D. Current ACLS certification preferred
E. Additional Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of the Joint Commission, CMS, and OSHA requirements, and state, federal, regulatory requirements. Successful completion of training in CPR & Handle With Care within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
