What we are looking for:

La Paloma Treatment Center is currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant/Accounts Payable Clerk, to assist with day-to-day operations of human resources and accounts payable processes within the inpatient treatment center.

This position is located at Foundations Recovery Network’s residential treatment facility, The Oaks at La Paloma, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Position Summary

Assist in day-to-day operations of the human resources activities within the designated treatment center. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain job postings internally and externally within applicant tracking system

  • Reviews and tracks initial resumes and applications for education, skill, and experience

  • Assists with the new hire process and onboarding

  • Schedules new hire orientation and staff training

  • Maintains employee files with confidentiality

  • Answers and responds to departmental inquiries

  • Communicates essential employee concerns to Human Resources Director

  • Maintains database for all employee licensing, certifications, 90-day reviews, annual evaluations, referral bonuses, and provides monthly reports

  • Assembles phone list for company directory

  • Assists with the preparation of All Staff Meetings and other meetings as assigned

  • Update birthday and anniversary lists monthly

  • Coordinates quarterly random drug screens for selected employees

  • Supports the bi-weekly payroll processing for 2 entities

  • Performs accounts payable duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrates professional behavior reflective of FRN’s Mission Statement, Philosophy and Values.

  • Adheres to Joint Commission standards.
  • Objectively manages employee complaints.

  • Probes all relevant sources for answers, looks beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at the first answers; uses logic and all information available to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.

  • Spends time on what is important; zero’s in on what is critical and can quickly sense what will hinder or help accomplishing a goal; eliminates roadblocks; creates focus.

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in human resources and payroll.

  • Experience within a healthcare setting preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point.
