Riveredge Hospital is a 210-bed leading psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing quality behavioral health services and trauma-informed care to children, adolescents and adults. The hospital offers inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and community residential programs. Riveredge is a Joint Commission approved, Top Performer and state licensed facility focused on short-term crisis stabilization programs. We are dedicated to our teamwork approach and provide compassionate and therapeutic environment, as well as offering a continuum of specialty programs through our inpatient, partial, outpatient and residential services.

The hospital is seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist to assist the department in all facets of Human Resources.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a stable and growing behavioral healthcare organization in the Chicagoland community. The primary responsibilities are as follows: Manages the recruitment process for all positions; Initiate and maintain all pre-employment reference and background checks, as well as all onboarding paperwork; Ensure overall compliance of employee personnel files in accordance to internal and external auditors; Participate in hospital survey process, performance evaluations, open enrollment and other special projects; Function as a liaison for employee benefits and employee relations issues; Inputting and maintaining hospital HRIS information; Ability to maintain the upmost confidentiality; Lead by example and champion the philosophy of Service Excellence.


Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related field. 2-4 years of general Human Resources experience required. HR experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required. Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft software.
