Role Summary

The HR Delivery Portal Content Analyst Senior delivers best practices, direction, and structure for internal-facing HR portal content across knowledge management and communications tools.  Partners with HR leaders and IT to deliver new solutions for content supporting HR functions and employee experience.  Resolves escalated issues related to this content and guides enhancements and projects.  Responsible for analyzing content usage metrics to drive continuous improvement to portal content, identify opportunities for communications planning changes, and set priorities for process improvements across HR Shared Services.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Coordinate, update and disseminate Information:
  • Drives HR content managers and functional content owners’ use of tools, standards and process, including authoring, provisioning, tagging, publishing and auditing. Provides expert input/feedback on myHR content organization. 
  • Leads best practice content process improvements across HR Teams.  
  • Develops, designs and delivers proof of concept solutions 
  • Partners with HR Delivery and other HR functions to ensure new/enhanced initiatives are reflected in portal content
  • Partners with Public Affairs team to review metrics driving enterprise-wide communications and HR communications planning
  • Creates and maintains security groups to target and protect sensitive content on the portal
  • Solves escalated support requests in partnership with HR Delivery analysts and Employee Service Center. Requests may include troubleshooting user front-end access to content or providing process reminders.
  • Ensures quality processes. Performs monthly audits, reviews content and performance, and facilitates systematic updates by content owners.
  • Conducts metrics reviews and delivers on recommendations to promote increased self-service and usage of HR knowledge and communications tools as indicated by operational analysis.
  • Partners with the ESC to develop solutions targeted at driving down call volume and increasing self-service capabilities 



  • 5 or more years of successful experience in a related content management and metric measurement role.
  • 3 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree.
  • Ability to organize, synthesize and securely present codified HR knowledge (documents, graphics, page-level descriptions, etc.) on portals based on business goals and needs
  • Strong awareness of (and willingness to research) “best in class” practices for tagging, indexing and otherwise ensuring content is searchable
  • Experience in developing, supporting and maintaining portals built on SharePoint or similar technology
  • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated success in translating goals in to actionable work plans
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the Cox organization
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate and negotiate with internal and external parties
  • Proven ability to form successful partnerships
  • Demonstrated capability to thrive in a high-change, often ambiguous business environment
  • Ability to function with minimal direction
  • Office-based position requiring physical ability to create and assess content using laptop/mobile devices and with occasional limited control over pace of work 


  • BS/BA in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Human Resources, Knowledge Management, Marketing, Library Science, etc.)  
  • Administrative knowledge of MS Office 365 / SharePoint strongly desired, including ability to maintain group-based security
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and graphic design a plus
  • Experience in managing social collaboration groups and/or communities of practice a plus
