Position Description:

POSITION PURPOSE

The Branch Manager, Home Renovation Services is responsible for driving field connectivity, relationship management and project management at the local level with clients, service providers and cross functional teammates.  Depending on the market, this role may vary from being an individual contributor to managing a team of project managers.  Additionally, Branch Managers serve as captains in one of three key field categories:

  1. Associate Engagement
  2. Ops/Processes
  3. Programs

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 30%   - Sales:  Deliver a high level of client, service provider and cross functional connectivity with Pro Account Rrepresentatives, IBI Representatives, and regional client representatives
  • 25%   -  Service Provider Sourcing and Management:  Identify and execute on sourcing needs; create, deliver and follow up on Service Provider action plans, drive Service Level Agreements  performance on bid times, project times and quality control
  • 30%    -  Fulfillment and Compliance:  Execute jobsite visits and create impactful interactions from those visits (account updates, sp coaching/recognition/training), review and address compliance risks (badging, permitting, MALP)
  • 10%  - Engage in assigned captainship
  • 5%    - Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting and training associates

NATURE AND SCOPE

Reports to the Sr. Manager Branch Support.  This position may have direct reports depending on the market.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Location ranges from comfortable indoor activities to active jobsites with noise, dust and debris considerations that may generate mild discomfort

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel 30% to 40% of the time.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:  5 Years

Physical Requirements:

Mix of time spent sitting in a comfortable position with a frequent opportunity to move about and on feet reviewing jobsites and/or projects.  On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with 3rd party management 
  • Prior experience in Project and jobsite management 
  • Prior experience in Sales support
  • Bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job

 Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of services/programs offered through HRS (general contracting, flooring, HVAC, residential repairs and remodeling)
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, that may be addressed to various levels of cross functional organizations, 3rd party vendors and clients
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Solutions-oriented; demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); understanding of additional applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint and web searches
