What You’ll Do
Cisco’s HR undergraduate program is a two-year rotational experience where recent university graduates engage in multiple HR disciplines.  The experience is designed to give new graduates broad exposure to an HR career while also developing foundational skills and knowledge in multiple HR competencies.  To facilitate a best-in-class experience, HR UP provides four experiential rotations over the two-year period.
● In the first year, participants can expect to join Cisco’s Employee Experience team within Global Business Services for six months and receive accelerated training in several HR subject areas (e.g. compensation, stock, etc.).  Once trained, participants respond to live phone and web inquiries from Cisco employees regarding their subject(s) of expertise. Participants will also spend six months on the Annual Cycle Programs team, ensuring efficient and user-centric delivery of HR programs. Combined, these first two components pack rich, relevant HR experience into the first year at Cisco.
● During the second year in the program, participants will complete two more rotations and will be placed into an HR center of excellence (e.g. staffing, learning & development, inclusion & diversity, etc.) and/or an HR generalist role. With the foundation of the first year, participants are poised to contribute in a meaningful way and gain deep subject-matter exposure during the second rotation.
● Responsibilities and deliverables may vary depending on specific placement
