Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System (SBHS) is a 178-bed acute care facility located in Streamwood,IL and has been providing mental health treatment to the Chicagoland community and the state of Illinois since 1991. We are dedicated to offering services to meet the ever-changing emotional and behavioral healthcare needs of children, adolescents, and their families. SBHS has a Part-Time Human Resource Generalist position available. The candidate selected will be responsible for the assisting the Human Resources department in various clerical duties including, Answering telephone inquiries, conducting telephone screens of applicants, preparing orientation binders, regularly updating and auditingemployee personnel files to ensure all records are properly documented, completing background checks and employment verifications, assisting with human resources projects and may perform other job duties related to the department.

Job Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related area is required; Master’s Degree is preferred. A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years human resources generalist experience is required. Solid grounding in base human resources competencies (e.g., payroll, compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, unemployment compensation, FMLA, and worker’s compensation). Health care experience is preferred.    LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: PHR or SPHR is preferred. Primary Source Verification shall be required through HRCI
