This position provides support to Human Resources Consultants in the Corporate Centers in the transactional and strategic work performed for clients. The incumbent will manage a variety of issues, often detailed and complex, and a number of projects and assignments at the direction of the HR Consultants.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing information and analysis using advanced knowledge and skills in various applications, such as: Business Objects, Access, Excel, PeopleSoft, and other HR information systems including, HCA and CompTrak Web. The incumbent will monitor and manage transactional processes and workflow and provide reporting on progress towards stated goals.

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provides analytical, transactional and administrative HR support to the Financial Management & Human Resources Human Resource Consultant (HRC) organization including Global Marketing Communications, Global Business and Technology Solutions, Human Resources Community Relations and the Chief Financial Office. This will include providing various reports, analysis and presentations to support business requests.

  • Coordinates HR Cyclical processes
  • Year End Compensation and calibration process
  • Talent Management Succession Planning
  • Employee Engagement Survey
  • Diversity - providing support for some of the administration and events
  • Training & Development program coordination
  • Supports the day to day HRC activity including:
  • On-boarding of new employees
  • Corporate Card Review
  • Bulk transactional requests
  • Securities violations monitoring
  • Business Continuation
  • Administrative support
  • Related duties as requested

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in human resources environment is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field is required.
  • Should be a highly motivated individual who will be expected to interface with internal business clients, shared services and the HR Community.
  • Must be organized, able to partner and build relationships, able to multi-task, take direction well and work independently
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify process that can be streamlined to improve and drive synergies.
  • The incumbent will be expected to develop knowledge of Prudential's HR policy and procedures.
  • Incumbent should be able to synthesize data and create summary materials (e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint) to be shared with senior management.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau or other data aggregation tools a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication.
  • Must be capable of establishing and maintaining a high level of credibility, respect, and trust.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize the day-to-day responsibilities and project related tasks.
  • Proficient in People Soft, MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information.
  • Willing and able to travel domestically up to 25%.
