Job Requirements
The Human Resources Assistant provides clerical and general support to the Human Resources Director; to promote the effective flow of information and to manage office services in a manner that positively supports hospital operations in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System.
 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrates competence in the human stages of growth and development.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related concentration of studies preferred. Prior experience in a health care setting is a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulation. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of manager, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


REASONING ABILITY: Requires ability to interpret and/or research standards and criteria related to health care; ability to design, plan, measure, analyze, and improve processes and systems with a teamwork approach.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSBILITIIES: Directly manages organization wide human resources policy and procedures; staff competency, human resources planning, labor relations, and staffing and labor law.
