Job Description



This position is responsible for performing Human Resource administrative processes and providing required statistical and clerical duties necessary for the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.






Proficient in establishing and maintaining organization and accurate filing of official employee personnel data and files.


Procurement of office supplies, processing mail, etc.


Excellent time management and organizational skills in order to handle multiple tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.


Proficient in typing, copying and distribution of documents.


Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing in a tactful and professional manner.


Ability to display tact, courtesy and professionalism at all times when dealing with the general public and staff.


Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times due to highly sensitive information regarding personnel data, salaries, etc.


Good analytical skills and ability to perform basic math computation for the processing of bills and providing of statistical data.


Ability to problem-solve, utilize critical thinking skills, and exercise good judgement in the performance of




  • Completes clerical tasks at the request of the Director of Human Resources


  • Establishes a filing system for required documentation such as Health Information, Personnel Records, Education Records, and Contractor information.


  • Creates audit tool for filing system.


  • Audits and records deficiencies in files.


  • Collates data from files and presents reports to the Director of Human Resources.


  • Communicates with staff and supervisors regarding needed paperwork and timelines for due dates


  • Completes data entry


  • Assists with the creation and distribution of HR related forms.


  • Copies paperwork for New Hire Orientation and any other applicable training.


  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree in administrative field preferred.


Two years’ experience in Human Resources or administrative field required.


Demonstrated knowledge of standard personnel policies and procedures, knowledge of standard local and federal requirements relative to employment laws and practices is preferred.
