Peachford Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Human Resources Director.

Located in the beautiful Dunwoody neighborhood of Atlanta, Peachford features individual units for children, adolescents, adults and seniors, serving residents of Georgia and beyond. We offer inpatient acute care, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. (www.peachford.com)

The Human Resources Director will ensure the selection and retention of employees whose qualifications best match the needs of the hospital.  

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Coordinate and direct recruitment activities.

  2. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures.

  3. Provide support and counsel to managers in staffing and personnel problems.

  4. Provide management training regarding evaluation process, staff competencies, and department orientation.

  5. Implement formal and informal communication measures to ensure that employees are made aware of key events and policies.

  6. Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of the Wage and Hour regulations that affect pay administration.

  7. Facilitate Worker’s Compensation program, FMLA, and sick leave program.

  8. Provide General Hospital Orientation, CPR and PMAB Training for employees as well as ongoing staff development.

  9. Serve as member of the Management Team and Safety Committee.

  10. Administer Managed Disability Program.

  11. Provide employee-management relations training and support.

  12. Act as Hospital Corporate Compliance Officer.

  13. Annually review safety policies for department to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and hospital practice.

  14. Annually review the number of injuries, types and costs for department as well as provide effective corrective action which results in reduction of accidents.

  15. Annually review and maintain updated job descriptions, performance evaluations, orientation checklists and competencies.

  16. Ensure departmental safe work practice.

Job Requirements

Four year Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
