Position Summary:
Position Purpose: Provides professional level planning, reporting, analysis and decision support data to support the goals and objectives of the organization; resolves conflicts; provides expertise and recommendations to management to support management decisions.
Key Responsibilities:    
1.    Manages Human Resources function and supervises the HR Coordinator. 
2.    Manages and oversees the recruitment, selection and retention of employees.  
3.    Implements and administers the compensation and classification system for the facility.
4.    Administers and provides assistance regarding all employee benefits.   
5.    Manages the Employee Relations Program.
6.    Manages Worker’s Compensation Program.

The Hughes Center is a provider of Residential Treatment Services for boys and girls ages 10 to 22 diagnosed as intellectually disabled or diagnosed with any pervasive developmental disorder, such as Autism or Asperger's Syndrome.
Day School: The Hughes Educational Center is a community-based day school for male and female students, kindergarten through 12th grade.
Our goal is to help young men and women learn the skills they need to be successful in their homes, schools and communities.
·        Complies with all Administrative, Clinical and Human Resources policies and procedures actively supporting the mission, philosophy and goals for the facilities.
·         Maintains personnel records and other legally required records.
·                 Ensures accuracy of monthly insurance premiums reconciliation reports and the timely submission of reports to Corporate Human Resources Benefits Administration for payment. 
·                Provides counseling to employees and management when requested. 
·        Reviews disciplinary actions and makes recommendations to management. 
·        Informs employees and management of problem resolution and grievance procedures.
