Position Summary:
Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the HR Generalist will assist with the administration of HR policies, procedures and programs to align our workforce with the strategic objectives of the hospital.  Key responsibilities will include:
-  Recruiting, sourcing, screening, testing, interviewing and candidate selection from both internal and external source channels
- Coordination of new employee orientation and department onboarding
- HRIS maintenance
- Maintaining audit-ready status of HR files
- Track compliance of mandatory training and staff development programs such as CPE, CPR, Annual Compliance Fair, etc.
- Responding to inquiries regarding HR related
- Maintain positive employee relations throughout the facility
- Adhere to all legal requirements, corporate policies and appropriate contractual agreements including required documentation
- Serve as primary back-up for the HR Director
Note:  This is a .8 FTE position
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or Communication from an accredited 4 year college or university.
Three years minimum experience in Human Resources, preferably in a hospital setting.
Recruiting experience required.
PHR certification preferred.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to effectively multi-task
Ability to work alternate shift when needed (infrequent)
