Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
Exciting role responsible for driving the strategic objectives of Exclusive Brand product development to deliver new product and/or develop existing products. This role will have responsibility for working with our Merchandising and Global Sourcing teams to develop and execute all Exclusive Brand strategies to achieve Y-O-Y growth in terms of Sales, Margin $, and Margin %.  International travel be necessary and private brand/global sourcing knowledge required.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
50%- Assist with research to develop written business plans across all brands.
25%- Product Sourcing and selection across all brands.
25%- Work with merchant on product and vendor selection.

Reports to Exclusive Brand Manager - JanSan
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
Exclusive Brand strategy and development:

Develop and program manage product sourcing opportunities with Merchants & Sourcing teams

Identify, develop, and recommend new international supplier or product opportunities

Understand global market landscape and global supplier base

Participate in selection, management, and developing of global suppliers as needed

Develop plan to achieve penetration goals

Forecast, measure, and report performance

Built out program targets, wish list - Track and manage

Communicate Merchandising strategies/goals

Promote Exclusive Brands with Marketing & Sales:

Coordinate and track program launch

Promotional planning and coordination with Merchandising and Marketing

Solicit sales and customer feedback

Manage spiffs/promotions

Coordinate training & specification communication to sales & customers


Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Must have strong quantitative, & data analysis skills, project management and process improvement skills. 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
The successful candidate MUST be a business owner with the ability to influence at all levels of the business, he/she must have excellent communication, presentation & facilitation skills, a self-starter.
Ability & willingness to travel are essential elements of this position. Some domestic and international travel required, including the possibility of extended international assignments
Understanding Marketing and Sales strategies and needs.
Understanding of the global supply chain process.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor s degree in Marketing or Business. One to three years of experience in marketing, merchandising, sales, product or brand management, preferably in a distribution environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Collaboration abilities, teamwork and inter-departmental communication skills are critical to the success of this position

COMPUTER SKILLS
Nearly all of the tasks required in this position require highly competent computer skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Data collection and analytical skills are paramount to analyze product performance, including cost estimating, turns, service levels and GM-ROI.
