The logistics analyst will support the logistics operations team with a mix of daily operational activity and high value analytics.

NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to Logistics Analysis Manager. Has no direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 10 years
Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
Operation activities may include but not limited to:
Utilizing TMS to route freight
Managing supplier compliance and on-boarding
Managing carrier compliance and service levels
Supply chain finance activities such as claims management and cost allocation.
High value analytics may include but not limited to:
Evaluating mode decisions
Distribution network design
Carrier service analytics
Root cause analysis
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Business, preferably Transportation, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
Nearly all of the tasks required in this position require highly competent computer skills including but not limited to MS Excel and SQL. The applicant must have the ability to write complex queries and present data in a simple concise format.
The applicant must have the ability to develop advanced models using statistics and other mathematical forms
