Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
Interline Brands is seeking a candidate to join the Pricing Strategy team and be a key contributor to price maintenance and process improvement. The individual will administer pricing strategies across IBI s portfolio of brands. The individual will be responsible for maintaining a critical eye on process, recommending and driving improvements. The individual will assist with contract processes. This person will also work across and support other functions within the strategy team.
This position requires close coordination with Sales, Merchandising, Marketing and IT teams. The Pricing Specialist will report directly to the Manager of Pricing Strategy.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
20%- Support the maintenance of top line and gross margin initiatives (price optimization engine and other pricing exercises)
20%- Process requests from sales team to update customer pricing in accordance with corporate strategy
20%- Ensures proper procedures are followed prior to activating requested price updates
20%- Assist with testing IT enhancements in the pricing area
10%- Manages workflow on daily and long-term projects to ensure price maintenance and proofing requirements are met
10%- Performs at maximum efficiency in order to stay on the established production schedules
NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to Pricing Manager. Has no direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Strong attention to detail and ability to input information with a very low level of typographical or spelling errors is essential
Aptitude for learning various legacy, database and software systems is essential
Intermediate Excel skills necessary
Ability to handle and complete several projects simultaneously and to be sensitive to deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
205 years of work experience, preferably in general business management, operations, marketing, pricing, finance, or strategy
Undergraduate college degree
Proactive, well organized self-starter
Detail oriented, flexible, and able to learn quickly
