The Production Support Manager is responsible for managing projects, allocating IT resources, coordinating interactions with clients and vendors, and keeping project teams focused through the design, development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost effective application development solutions for Interline Brands. Works closely with the IT team and vendors to maintain established practices and procedures that ensure the integrity and quality of project deliverables in accordance with the approved life cycle methodology. Actively participates in the application development process providing technical guidance on all COTS/ERP integration points to ensure scalability and maintainability. Provides leadership to cross functional teams, in addition to attracting, retaining and developing a strong application development team to implement and maintain high quality systems and solutions for Interline Brands.

NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to the Sr. Director of Application Development. Has 5 direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 10 years
Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
Develops new applications in compliance with approved architecture and software standard.
Leads technical design to ensure compliance with the IT strategic direction.
Works closely with COTS vendors to keep packaged software solutions current and maintains a listing of software versions, licenses, contacts, and server software and hardware recommendations.
Manages project budget on COTS upgrade projects and holds vendors accountable for delivering stable solutions and resolving all defects.
Ensures project tasks and deliverables meet requirements and are completed on schedule.
Analyzes application performance, availability, and accuracy for each supported application. Make recommendations for performance and quality initiatives.
Ensures that SOX compliance is maintained and all change management procedures followed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Education, Training and Experience
BS/MS in Information Technology or equivalent.
5+ years of experience managing complex enterprise applications and supporting packaged software solutions.
5+ years of experience managing applications in a Distribution or Logistics environment preferred.
5+ years of experience leading projects using Agile and/or waterfall hybrid development methodologies
3+ years of development experience on the .NET platform (C#, ASP.NET, WinForms, WPF, WCF, WF)
3+ years of SQL Server experience.
Experienced with Microsoft development tools (SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio).
Experienced in developing and maintaining Data Models.
Experienced using web services and building SSIS packages.
Strong understanding of Object-Relational Mapping tools and concepts.
Strong understanding of Source Code Control, experienced using Visual Source Safe, TFS, Subversion
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Access)
Adept at managing projects using Microsoft Project.
