Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. Will supervise the daily activity of employees insuring accurate receipt, breakdown, and put-away of all sku s in 134,00 sq ft facility. Must effectively plan and organize daily workflow and monitor employee performance to maximize efficiency of operations in a fully automated environment.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

20%- Motivate personnel to excellence in a team environment. Manage personnel to include selection, training, & disciplinary measures.
10%- Insure safe operations and OSHA compliance at all times
10%- Schedule inbound shipments
20%- Plan & organize work flow. Monitor progress and redirect as necessary to achieve goals
20%- Assure timely, accurate receipt of inventory
20%- Identify and resolve damages/discrepancies. Oversee shipment rejects and product returns

NATURE AND SCOPE

Reports to the Operations Manager. Has 20 direct reports.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:
Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
3 years

Physical Requirements:

Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Additional Qualifications:

Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs on a repetitive basis
Must be able to operate motorized equipment
Must be able to be on your feet for extended period of time, sit, squat & reach.
Must be able to work extended hours as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven leadership ability w/ the ability to motivate people
Experience in receiving as a manager/supervisor
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and respond

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Experience with the use of RF guns and computerized inventory systems
Experience with MS Office w/the ability to create/maintain progress reports
