Job Details

**Role Summary**







+ Work with global teams to optimize imaging data acquisition, processing, analysis, and report generation



+ Program automated pre-clinical image ( CT, Ultrasound, and other imaging technologies ) analysis tools



+ Rapid prototyping and ability to conduct in vivo experiments to cross-validate tools to established protocols



+ Interface with technology group to maintain global team's networks and data management



+ Automate data migration, extraction, and database management



+ Train colleagues on the use of automated image analysis tools



+ Update tools as software/networks change



+ Ensure iPACs compliance







**Role Responsibilities**







+ Software automation



+ Lung tumor automation



+ Body composition analysis



+ Thermography segmentation



+ Bone and cartilage analysis



+ Liver, heart and kidney analyses



+ Brain analysis



+ Script automation (reconstruction, migration, achieving)







**Data management**







+ Image database management



+ Data storage



+ Interface BT



+ Manage electronic notebooks



+ Data management



+ Oversee management of capital equipment, PC's and other electronic devices



+ Represent CM/GST at technology based events



+ Help to organize internal conferences, publications and posters







**Qualification**







**Required**







+ PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Electrical or Biomedical), Mathematics, Biophysics, or similar field



+ 2-4+ years working with MatLab, preferably working with image processing, signal processing, statistics or data/image acquisition toolboxes, and interfacing with C++ code, IDL, Python, or other programing language



+ 1+ years experience with multi-spectral imaging, color analysis, image segmentation feature detection, statistical texture analysis, pattern classification, or other 3D image analysis



+ Ability to design and execute experiments



+ Excellent documentation skills



+ Occasional travel



+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a matrix environment and work on multiple projects







**Preferred** :







+ Proven record of project management or life-cycle management



+ Familiar with Amira/Avizo, OsiriX, or other image analysis software



+ Basic small animal in vivo techniques



+ Basic knowledge of drug discovery



+ Basic knowledge of human and lab animal anatomy and physiology (biological structures)







PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS







+ Able to lift 30 pounds, sit, stand, walk, and bend



+ Able to travel domestically
