Position Summary

We are seeking an Implementation Manager for our Raleigh, NC location responsible for the onboarding, implementation and support of products in the healthcare Utility Services Suite in the Optum Cloud. Ensure that service consumers are effectively implemented and ramped up on our systems and be responsible to conceptually understand web services, both SOAP and REST and use strong data skills including analytics and database queries. Conduct Release Planning, Resource Allocation, and establish milestone dates; coordinate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, Implementation and Business Teams and manage the release implementation in development, QA and production environments without any slippage. Provide support in resolving configuration issues that customers may face during the implementation phase; provide customers with implementation of product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders; act as an implementation lead for customer configuration, setup and training; setup customer accounts across multiple products and environments; consult with customer for logic pertaining to web services and bulk loads; support the integration testing of customer logic; provide production deployment support and transition to our operational Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams; troubleshoot Level 3 production support issues post-deployment and recommend solutions as required; and modify and delete data across multiple environments. Use Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g, RDBMS, SQL, SQL Server, Toad and SQL Plus, Struts, Spring, JSP, Web Services, J2EE, Mule, Oracle, Unix AIX, and JAVA. Also responsible for of the above mentioned processes as well as the individuals responsible for the various components will be necessary. Provide supervision to Sr. Implementation Specialists. Travel required (10-15%) for client and internal meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience.
  • Must also have demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: 1) Onboarding, implementation and support of healthcare software products; 2) Conduct Release Planning, Resource Allocation, and Establish milestone dates. 3) Co-ordinate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, Implementation and Business Teams and manage the release implementation in DEV, QA and Production environments without any slippage; 4) Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g, RDBMS, SQL, SQL Server; 5) Toad and SQL Plus, Struts, Spring, JSP, and Web Services; 6) J2EE, Mule, Oracle, Unix AIX, and JAVA.
  • Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
