What You’ll Do

You will be an Industrial IOT Networking Partner Sales Specialist who will assist Cisco Partners in selling these solutions. You will focus on driving the sales of Industrial IOT Networking via Channel & alliance partners. The Industrial IOT Networking Partner Sales Specialist will work closely with Cisco’s Frontline Sales, Partner Account Managers and in close collaboration with Enterprise Networking (EN) Sales, Industrial IOT Marketing and Industrial Networking BU.

In this role, you will:

  • Build the Industrial IOT networking partner plan for France and propose tactics to increase sales and awareness within the IOT Industry partners, IT partners, and alliance partners.
  • Work closely with identified Partners to develop industrial Networking sales and drive business development planning in respect with the Partner account managers’ plans.
  • Support partners to Identify and pursue opportunities for Extended Enterprise/Ruggedized use cases for Route, Switch, Wireless and Security leveraging Cisco’s Industrial Networking Product Portfolio, …
  • Help partners to increase sales on extended Enterprise use cases including connectivity for Warehouses, Distribution Centers, Outdoor Campuses, ATM Kiosks, Airports, Ports, First Responders etc.
  • Enables Partner Sales and pre-sales teams on Industrial Networking so that they become comfortable identifying and closing Extended Enterprise use cases opportunities.
  • Build and forecast pipeline for Industrial Networking Product Portfolio.
  • Provide partner/alliance feedback to BU and Marketing teams.
  • Work in a cross-functional team with Business Units, local partners, WW Partners and the sales teams to ensure the development and execution of IOT Industries GTM strategy.
  • Investigate, identify, and execute plans to build relationships with IOT Industries related regulatory agencies, standards organizations, and industry associations.


Who You’ll Work With

You will report directly to the IOT Leader in France and work with cross-functional teamwork with the French sales teams, Business Units and Cisco partners, across a broad portion of Cisco’s portfolio.

In addition, as part of the French IoT Skill Center, you will work with Architects and Systems Engineers, and Industrial Networking BU and other industry experts to develop solutions matching our customers’ needs.

Who You Are

You will bring, 

  • Several years of experience and knowledge of direct selling and sales through a channel.
  • Demonstrated blend of sales success, industry experience, business relevance and technical acumen in a role that has high visibility and impact within Cisco's France customer base.
  • Sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct business development conversations and develop strong relationship-building with all levels of executives and management to influence and work across multiple organizations and levels.
  • Strong relationship management skills in major account environments are essential.
  • Strong strategic thinking, initiative and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, competing demands being a self-starter and strong closer with multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills are a must.
  • Must demonstrate an ability to excel within a cross-functional and cross-cultural team environment with a in a heavily matrix structure
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Requires excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work independently, but within a team environment.
  • Confident, competitive, thorough and tenacious.
  • Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies
  • Understand and position the value of data and analytics in the IoT Industry space
  • Ability to grasp complexities, understand relationships between issues, and makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty
  • Excellent French and English Language Skills

Desired Skills

  • BS/BA/MS required or respective Diploma
  • 4 years+ of Industry (Manufacturing, Utilities, Transportation) sales and/or business development experience preferred
