Description:

We are seeking a talented Information Management Technical Specialist to join the Management Information Systems team within Prudential Advisors. The Management Information Systems team is responsible for establishing and executing the delivery of information, reporting platforms and solutions to Prudential Advisor’s stakeholders, including the Home Office, Territory and Field Management Leadership teams.

 

You will be a key member of the Prudential Advisors Management Information Systems team and will work directly with Business Analysts, System professionals, Quality Assurance Testers, Prudential Advisor Business partners and at times, key members of our Senior Leadership team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to various phases of the system development and implementation process, including architecture and data design, development and testing
  • Contribute to the design and development of end to end solutions, including data models and provide ongoing support for Prudential Advisors Business Intelligence systems in an environment of diverse development platforms and computing environments
  • Consult with management in the analysis of short and long range business requirements and provide recommendations for innovations which anticipate the future impact of changing business requirements and needs
  • Participate and support the definition of the methodology, implementation of data marts and business intelligence solutions and development of supporting documentation
  • Manage and implement project deliverables consistent with, and in support of long terms priorities, initiatives and standards and should be comfortable identifying and resolving moderately complex problems

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Broad scope of accountability
  • Strong knowledge of Data Architecture
  • Minimum 2-3 years of data analysis, data quality and data integration
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Solid understanding of Business Intelligence trends and SaS based solutions
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels, including Prudential Advisors key stakeholders and Senior Leadership team
  • Self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills, both business and IT languages
  • Prior experience implementing reporting and data visualization solutions
  • Able to grasp high level strategies while paying attention to detail, as needed
  • Prior Web Development Experience
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize, managing multiple projects at a time
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred knowledge of Prudential Advisor’s business, performance drivers and financial implications to the bottom line
  • Moderate expertise in data modeling, both logical and physical
