Description: Manages and maintains all current and proposed information systems for the Walmart Dairy Facility by overseeing and conducting data extraction; testing new functionality or software before roll-out; making adjustments to system settings when needed; performing system maintenance; answering support tickets; resolving issues and concerns; working with and managing third-party technology partners who are building system functionality; and serving as lead contact with third-party software vendors and the Information Systems Division (ISD). Develops team member capabilities by mentoring and teaching on new and existing technology (for example, coding languages, scripts, documentation requirements, standards, database management software (DBMS) technologies); directing developmental tasks; and researching developmental training from team members, job assignments, classroom, technical books, and other readings to maintain up to date industry knowledge. Ensures assignments are complete by monitoring processes for assignments received from plant manager, and/or plant leadership; giving updates on assignments and projects; tracking and reporting time spent on projects; collaborating with team and leadership concerning information system efficiencies; creating and reviewing team documentation; and developing written and oral presentations for diverse audiences (for example, management, Customers, suppliers, technical staff). Oversees facility hardware asset controls by ensuring proper equipment check-in/out; monitoring equipment maintenance and repair; tracking i nventory and ordering system components; and ensuring hardware assets (for example, tablets, mobile data devices) are secure. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
