What You'll Do
Your responsibility will be to drive a variety of infrastructure projects and assist in building the next generation of Cisco security architecture. You will work across engineering teams to define requirements and ensure that we can stay ahead of services growth for a truly global cloud platform. Cisco relies on providing an industry leading platform to run its SaaS service architecture, you will be key to ensuring the execution of our Datacenter strategy meeting the business needs.

Who You Are
You will expertly manage the coordination of procurement, delivery and installation of infrastructure equipment across a global Datacenter footprint while driving requirements out of our engineering functions and assisting in technical specifications of our cloud infrastructure. You will be managing 3rd party vendors including co-location partners and internet service providers and driving highly complex migration and greenfield projects from initiation to completion. You will also be developing demand management methodologies to improve the speed and quality of deployments.
Our minimum requirements for this role: 
*	Experience in a similar role within a technology focused organization
*	A track record of delivering high value IT infrastructure projects with a rigorous attention to detail
*	Project Management qualified (PRINCE2, PMI etc.)
*	Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
*	Excellent communication skills: Able to write reports, interpret design diagrams and to present on available options
*	A solid background on Data Center technologies
Desired Skills
*	Experience of the use of 3rd party Data Center providers and managing vendors for delivery
*	Experience of working in an Agile environment
*	Systems Engineering background with a grounding in networking and Linux systems, ideally around HPC or Cloud
