The Cisco Meraki team is looking for a people-focused technical sales leader who provides technical direction and business guidance to their regional sales team. As a Manager of Meraki Inside Systems Engineers, you will be responsible for proactively developing and maintaining a team of high-performing SEs and continually seeking innovative methods for improving team performance.  You’ll be accountable for regional revenue goals by driving innovative technical programs and overseeing day-to-day account-level activities. This role is based in Cisco Meraki’s headquarters in San Francisco.

  • A high level of business acumen and experience working with Cx0 level personnel, bringing technology solutions to solve business challenges
  • Success working with Value Added Resellers and distribution teams to ensure a great customer experience
  • Success working cross-functionally with Product Management and Product Marketing organizations
  • Demonstrated strong written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision-makers
  • Knowledge of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless networks, site surveys, requirements gathering, deployment challenges, etc.  Ability to create a successful RF environment under the most challenging conditions
  • Solid understanding of wired networks, including network security, routing/switching, network communication protocols, etc.
  • Ability to leverage advanced networking experience to guide SE’s through complex POC’s and customer architectures.  Develop and deploy new network architectures to customers where needed.
  • Proven track record of 5-10 years in a pre-sales technical management role (Manager of solutions architects, systems engineers, sales engineers, etc)
