**ROLE SUMMARY**



Instrumentation Supervisor II: The primary role is the supervision of Instrumentation Technicians and metrology laboratories in support of the Pfizer Rocky Mount, NC plant wide instrumentation process and systems monitoring controls.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



Instrumentation Supervisor II: This position supervises and supports Instrumentation Technicians, manages metrology laboratories and Computerized Calibration Management System (CCMS). Writes and reviews qualification and protocol documentation, manages inventory of repair parts, test equipment, instrumentation standards within budget, supports all internal and external audits, performs these and other duties as required in support of the Pfizer Rocky Mount, NC plant wide instrumentation process and systems monitoring controls. The Instrumentation Supervisor supports the Instrumentation Manage, Instrumentation Controls Engineer, and Instrumentation Compliance Engineer during Internal and External Regulatory audits, assists with engineering projects, validation projects, and qualifications. This position interfaces with numerous other colleagues, departments, and teams to resolve, assist, and communicate instrumentation concerns and issues.







**QUALIFICATIONS**



3+ years of Supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.



Position requires excellent leadership, organizational, documentation and multi-tasking skills.



Experience in Instrumentation and/or Maintenance is preferred.



Experience in an FDA regulated industry is preferred.



Previous Lean Six-Sigma experience preferred. Experience in pharmaceutical Aseptic, Sterile filling, Solutions, or Finishing operations a plus.







**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**



Physical: Stands and/or Sits up to 6 hours. Twists at waist 20 times/hour. Regularly lifts 15 lbs. 3 times/shift. Occasionally lift 44 lbs. numerous times/shift. Repetitive use of upper extremities.



Mental: Responds to visual and audible warning indicators. Responds to color or special visual indicators. Works around moving equipment. Works with chemicals.







**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**



Expected to work weekends, and call-ins as required. Expected to work numerous consecutive days during plant shutdown periods. Minimal travel for offsite for training opportunities







**OTHER INFORMATION**







+ Primary interactions will be with Instrumentation, Utilities, Manufacturing Maintenance and Management colleagues. Position requires interfacing with Project and Process Engineering , and Validation colleagues for the instrumentation requirements on development, installation, and qualification of processes. Additional interactions with Quality and other site departments/colleagues.
