The Insurance Analyst provides day to day analyst support for the Corporate Insurance Administration function within the organization. Key responsibilities of the Corporate Insurance Administration function surround the strategic as well as the day to day management of the many insurance programs and  processes, financial management, and customer service/liaison with other company functions both at corporate and at the facility level.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Supports the administration portion of the insurance program renewal process.
  • Participates in strategic planning.  Coordinates data collection.  Calculates loss analysis.  Coordinates renewal timeline execution.  Reviews and analyze results.  Prepares program binding and monitors post binding administration.
  • Analyzes and maintains spreadsheets of specific exposure information during the year, including variance management.
  • Manages Policy receipt and administrative process and review.
  • Coordinates documentation of entire renewal process and manages key information in appropriate drives/systems.
  • Coordinates and participates in periodic meetings with services providers during the policy year.
  • Provides technical support for mid-year financial work to include invoicing, audits, etc.
  • Supports the procuring of new insurance programs.
  • Interacts with internal corporate and facility personnel to support, answer coverage and claims questions, etc.
  • Participates in seminars/meetings, as needed.
  • Supports internal SOX document preparation.
  • Administers and carries out established corporate policies and procedures pertaining to Corporate Insurance programs.
  • Supports administrative and data function around the accrual financial project, include process documentation, improvement, and vendor management.
  • Monitors Certificate of insurance process management and day to day issuance, etc.

 

 

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of three-five years’ experience in the field; ten or more years of directly related Insurance Analyst experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
